    All about lava!

    Lava rheology is the heart of my research. I am studying the relationship and interdependence of lava cooling, cristallisation, rheology, emplacement behaviour and  morphology.

    My field areas have been fluid lavas on Mars and Iceland and thick lavas in Mexico.

    My current post-doc project is on active lava in Hawaii.
