PhD : Eruptive dynamics and associated mechanisms in basaltic systems: insights from Piton de la Fournaise volcano, La Reunion Island, France

- Study of the eruptive deposits (syn- and post-eruptive)
- Textural and geochemical measurements on the eruptive products
- Identification of magmatic and/or tectonic processes at the origin of the different types of volcanic activity
- Routine measurements on the current eruptions of Piton de la Fournaise volcano, as part of the DynVolc observation service of the Observatoire de Physique du Globe de Clermont-Ferrand (OPGC)
- Field implementation of a syn-eruptive sampling of ash with the ASHER instrument (real-time monitoring of ash quantity and grain size)
