  • October 2025/Present – Ph.D. in experimental petrology
    Université Clermont Auvergne, Aubière, France

Dissertation: Planetary heat transport and its influence on the thermal evolution of terrestrial planets
Supervisors: Dr. Geeth Manthilake & Dr. Julien Monteux

This project combines high pressure in situ experiments on planetary interior materials at CMB conditions with numerical thermal modeling to investigate the heat transfer and thermal evolution of terrestrial planet in our solar system. Main objectives include:

    • Constraining the thermal transport properties at CMB conditions using multi-anvil apparatus
    • Integrating these results into finite element models to quantify their impact on planetary-scale heat transport and magnetosphere
    • Developing a comparative framework to understand differences of the thermal evolution of Mars, Mercury, Earth and Venus.

Doctoral fellowship awarded by the Ecole Doctorale des Sciences Fondamentales, Université Clermont Auvergne
