Le workshop MIST (Modeling Imaging Sensing and Tracing of emissions and volcanic plumes) se tiendra à Clermont Ferrand, à La Maison International, du mercredi 19 octobre 14h au vendredi 21 octobre 14h.
Ce workshop sera intitulé : « Volcanic plumes: understanding of the source, transport and impact (on health, environment, air traffic and climate) of volcanic emissions« .

L’atelier sera l’occasion de faire le point sur nos avancées mais aussi de discuter de la manière de continuer à fédérer ce groupe.
Nous souhaitons également proposer l’organisation d’une école d’été volcan- atmosphère.
L’atelier s’articule autour de 4 thèmes principaux
- Source chemistry and physics of gas-particle volcanic emissions
- Convection and plume injection
- Dispersion and impacts
- Satellite and modelling
